Lenape’s Adult & Continuing Education Program is proud to serve  Armstrong County and surrounding regions as a center for developing workforce skills through adult programs and partnerships that are aligned with regional economic development and employment needs, as well as focus on student success and enrichment.

ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification
Understanding the risks and ways to prevent foodborne illness will protect customers and businesses from harm. The person-in-charge of a food service or retail establishment must know how and what food safety practices to monitor. Proper food safety training can lead to improved food safety and customer satisfaction.

    In this six-hour workshop, learn the basics of Microsoft Word, including creating, editing, saving, and printing documents. Topics include, entering and editing text, copying, cutting and pasting text, formatting fonts, lines and paragraphs, margins, tabs, indents, bullets, page breaks, use of the thesaurus and the spelling and grammar checker.

    In this six-hour course learn the basics of Microsoft Excel, including creating, editing, saving and printing spreadsheets. Topics include formatting labels, values, formulas, functions, relative and absolute cell references, formatting and charts.

    In a safe and relaxing atmosphere, students will learn the benefits of yoga, incorporating basic yoga asana, proper yoga breathing, and relaxation techniques that suit the benefits of you! Focus is placed on posture and basic poses that are used commonly in all levels of yoga practice. This is an excellent introduction for new students and also great for the experienced student looking to fine tune their practice. If you want a gentle way to learn more about yoga, this class is for you! Student to bring mat or towel. $49. Tursday nights beginning June 21 through July 19 (No class July 5th)
