Lenape Tech's Comprehensive Plan Public Review

The Comprehensive Planning process at Lenape Technical School was purposefully designed to be collaborative and include all stakeholders. A planning committee was formed to assist in the development of Lenape Technical School’s Comprehensive Plan. Key staff members and representatives as outlined by the PA Department of Education did participate in the development of the plan to ensure that multiple perspectives were considered.

The initial presentation of the Comprehensive Plan to the Joint Operating Committee occurred on June 21st, 2018. The period of public review and comment on the plan will continue until August 10, 2018. The plan will be presented to the Joint Operating Committee for approval on August 16th, 2018. The plan will be submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education by September 1, 2018 for review and approval.

    We will discuss the relevant anatomy and physiology, along with hands-on identification to help understand how they function.  In a hands-on session, deep massage, vibrations, and pressure techniques will be demonstrated for releasing tension.  We will also look at promoting better flexibility in the lower back and hips with a series of stretches and mobility exercises. Students to bring twin sheet, towel, and lotion to class.

    The neck and back are the most common areas of the body that are prone to stiffness and accumulate tension. Desk jobs, long working hours and poor posture can cause discomfort and stiffness in the neck, shoulders and back.  Here is an ideal introductory workshop for those wishing to massage family and friends that suffer specifically with back, neck and shoulder pain safely, using various massage techniques to provide both a relaxing and effective treatment. Students are to bring twin sheet, towel, and lotion to class.

    TOPIC: Why You Aren’t Getting the Interview. This 2-hour free open workshop will cover the relationship between your resume and getting the interview. Discussion will involve how to capture the reader’s attention and a brief overview of cover letters. **Although FREE, registration is required by Aug 1st.** Participants are encouraged to bring a thumb drive.
