Lenape Practical Nursing offers full time and part time programs of study to enable successful applicants to pursue a practical nursing education.
Lenape Technical School currently offers the Practical Nursing Program at two sites; Ford City (main site) and New Castle (secondary site). Both, Ford City and New Castle offer the full-time program of study. The part-time program is available at the Ford City location only.
The Practical Nursing Program is a 1554 clock hour, four level program to prepare graduates to enter the field of nursing in an entry level position. After completion o fthe program, the graduate is eligible to take the Practical Nursing Licensing Exam (NCLEX-PN).
Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.

The student is responsible for personal living accommodations and transportation.
Practical nurses are employed in a variety of health care settings. This includes physician offices, schools, hospitals, home health agencies, long-term care and outpatient facilities.
