ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR: Part-time/casual positions available immediately in Lenape’s Adult Education Department in the following disciplines:

The Adult Education Program has a current opening for a part-time evening instructor for our Fundamentals of HVACR course.  The course meets one evening a week for 10 weeks (twice a year). A degree is not necessary but candidates must have an enthusiasm for their subject and a desire to share their expertise. Certifications in your field are a plus! A minimum of three years’ experience working in the subject area, good communication skills, and good organizational skills are required. The hourly rate is competitive.

We are currently interviewing compassionate, caring individuals for our FREE Nurse Aide Training Program.  Nurse Aides are responsible for providing care, assisting in daily living activities for our residents and more!

 

Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.  No diploma or GED is required.


 


 

RECEPTIONIST Needed for Part-Time Position in Care Center

 

 

Part Time - Every other Saturday and Sunday 2:00p-8:00p

 

Kittanning Care Center, conveniently located off Route 422 three miles east of Kittanning Borough, is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center, including a 26-bed Center for the Memory Impaired.

 

Our center seeks a Receptionist to answer incoming calls and assist the facility managers in a variety of day-to-day functions.

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones, taking messages and screening/directing calls to the appropriate parties
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing mail, and distributing accordingly
  • Inputting initial resident admission data to produce a face sheet, arm band and identification card
  • Answering inquiries according to center policies and procedures
  • Assisting social services/admissions

Qualifications

The Receptionist candidate will use standard office equipment including computers, telephone systems and copy/fax machines.
