Principal's Message

Dear Family and Friends of Lenape Technical School:

As the new building principal here at Lenape, I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and convey how excited I am to be serving the students, staff, families, and communities that make up the Lenape Tech Family!

Although this will be my first year as your principal, I have been with Lenape for the past 11 years as the Law Enforcement Information & Technology instructor.  During that time, I have had the privilege of working closely with our incredibly hard-working and career-focused students and their families, as well as all of the dedicated teachers, instructional assistants, support staff, and business and community partners who make Lenape such an amazing experience.

Prior to my tenure at Lenape, I was a program coordinator in an alternative education setting, and have served as municipal police officer here in Armstrong County for 10 years prior to working in education.  These experiences give me a unique perspective regarding school safety and security, how to solve problems and help people be successful, even when facing challenging siutations.

As the start of the new school year quickly approaches, please check our website and FaceBook page frequently for news, information, and important events relating to welcoming our new and returning students for the 2018-2019 school year.

If you should have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone or email so that I can assist you.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our students in this new capacity, and look forward to an exciting and positive school year!!

Respectfully,

Jason Gurski, Principal
