Business Manager

 Lenape Technical School is accepting applications for a full-time business manager.  The business manager will oversee the financial interests of Lenape Technical School.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.  Qualified applicants must have demonstrated experience in financial management and leadership in a school or business environment.  The successful candidate should skilled in budget preparation, audit preparation, finance, investments, purchasing, insurance, and possess effective people management skills.  Additional experience in oversight of food service, employee contracts, transportation, and financial aid preferred.  

Successful candidate must be able to obtain Act 34, 114, 151, 168 clearances and physical exam required if selected for the position.  Forward letter of interest, resume, and references to: Suzanne Stuben, Administrative Assistant to the Director, Lenape Technical School, 2215 Chaplin Ave., Ford City, PA 16226 before April 30, 2024 or until a suitable candidate is found. Prom 2024 Information

Lenape Tech’s prom will be held at Laube Hall on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The prom will begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 10:00 p.m. Below is all pertinent information about policies, procedures, and general information related to Lenape Tech’s prom.  

General Information:

  • The theme is “An Enchanted Evening”.
  • Laube Hall is located at 115 Community Park Rd Freeport, PA 16229
  • The doors to the Laube Hall will open at 5:45 p.m. 
  • Students should report to prom by 6:00 p.m. and no later than 6:15 p.m. 
  • All students entering Laube Hall will be checked with metal detectors.
  • Once students have entered the event, they are not permitted to leave until 9:45p.m. 
  • The prom will include a sit down meal, beverages, and dancing.  
  • If a student does not show, parents will be notified. 
  • This is a school sponsored event and therefore the code of conduct as stated in the handbook must be followed.   
  • Any student not in attendance on Friday, May 3rd will not be permitted to attend the Prom.  


Ticket Sales:

  • Tickets will be $45 per student and will be on sale from April 8th through April 26th. Tickets will be sold before first period and during TAP in in Mrs. Moore’s room (A-202). 
  • All paperwork must be completed in order to purchase a ticket. Paperwork is available through Lenape Tech email and can be completed online. Students can also look for posters hanging in the school.
  • Participants must be in at least 9th grade and must be under 21 years of age. You cannot be 21.  IDs will be checked for verification. All outside guests must provide a valid ID before a ticket is purchased for them and at the door.  
  • Guests must also have the “Guest Permission Form”. If they are a current high school student, they will also need the “Principal Form” which needs to be filled in by a principal or administrator of their school.
  • Upon purchasing a ticket, students will receive a picture order form and prom information. Photographs will be taken by Larry Johns Photography. Professional photographs will only be taken at Lenape Tech. They will not be taken at Laube Hall.

Prom Court: 

  • Students will be nominated during ticket sales.  
  • Students who were Snowball Court winners (King, Queen, etc.) are not eligible to be nominated for Prom Court. 
  • Students must be in good standing with the school. 
  • A list of nominees will be compiled and students will vote through email. The courts will consist of five juniors and five seniors to be announced at the prom.  

Grand March:  

  • Grand March will be in the Lenape Tech Gym and will begin at 4:30 p.m.   
  • This is a free event in which students walk the “red carpet” with their date. Students will complete the “Grand March” form (given out during Grand March) and hand this form to in as they are preparing to be announced. There is no set order for Grand March; it is based on a “first come” system.  
  • This is a voluntary activity for students.  
  • Prom Court will be announced Monday, April 29th during the school day.  Prom crowning will be held at Grand March.
