SOAR
Lenape Technical is a participant in the state SOAR, Students Occupationally and Academically Ready, Program. SOAR gives our students the advantage of earning college credits (free of charge) for courses in particular post-secondary programs, before they graduate from high school.
For students to earn these credits they must…
- Participate in one of our 11 SOAR related technical program – see the individual program pages for this information (look for the SOAR logo)
- Earn a high school diploma
- Maintain a 2.5 grade point average in your technical program
- Achieve competent or advanced on the End of Program assessment (NOCTI or NIMS)
- Complete a competency task list at the proficient level or above
- Earn industry certificates where available
- Successfully apply to the college of your choice that offers your Program of Study
