Mr. Wesley Kuchta was appointed the Administrative Director of Lenape Technical School in July of 2018. Prior to serving as Administrative Director, he was the Assistant Director/Principal of Lenape Tech for 2 years. Prior to coming to Lenape Tech, he was Principal of A.W. Beattie Career Center and taught Social Studies at Deer Lakes High School and Agora Cyber Charter School.
Mr. Kuchta sits on the Tri-Country Workforce Development Board, Community Action Board, and is active on various other committees supporting workforce development throughout the region. Mr. Kuchta is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Career of Career Technical Administrators (PACTA) and currently is the Western Region Secretary/Treasurer.
Mr. Kuchta received his Masters in Educational Administration from California University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education Social Studies from Slippery Rock University.
Dr. Jason Gurski has been the Assistant Director/Principal at Lenape Tech since February of 2018. Prior to becoming a school administrator, Dr. Gurski taught the Law Enforcement Information Technology Program at Lenape for eleven years and served as a municipal police officer for nearly ten years.
Dr. Gurski earned his bachelor’s degree in vocational education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds a Vocational Instructor II certification. Dr. Gurski went on to complete his master’s degree and principal certification program at California University of Pennsylvania and is also certified as a vocational administrative director. Most recently, Dr. Gurski completed the requirements for his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Pennsylvania Western University at California.
Mr. Grant Gourley assumed the role of Dean of Students at Lenape Technical School in July of 2020. Prior to joining Lenape, Mr. Gourley taught Art at Conemaugh Valley Jr/Sr High School from 2012 to 2020, and also served as the Dean of Students there from 2017 to 2020.
Mr. Gourley's educational background includes completion of a Principal Certification program, a Master's in Education, and a Bachelor's of Science in Art (K-12), all from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Autumn Weleski was appointed the Special Programs Coordinator position in July of 2023. Prior to serving in this position, Mrs. Weleski taught Special Education at Deer Lakes High School for 17 years.
Mrs. Weleski received her Master's in Educational Leadership from California University of Pennsylvania, her dual certification in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12) from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Middle Level English (7-9) certification. Mrs. Weleski also earned her National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.
