POSITION SUMMARY

  • Meet and manage new leads and existing clients to sell and renew landscape maintenance contracts and enhancement services
  • Prepare estimates and proposals for presentation to clients
  • Perform client site visits and consistent communication to ensure quality services and customer satisfaction
  • Continually improve the client experience with the goals of exceeding client expectations
  • Answer client questions or concerns regarding items such as weeds and plant/turf health
  • Direct crews on maintenance work orders, with a detailed and thorough plan
  • Consistently offer additional services to customers to educate and enhance existing landscape
  • Schedule and plan daily activities
  • Meet regularly with the sales and operations team to review progress, sales goals, and performance
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY

Equipment Management

  • Safely move and transport equipment to and from job sites
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues; coordinate major repairs with service providers if needed

Material and Inventory Management

  • Pickup and deliver material and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure easy access and safe storage of equipment and materials
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment, parts, and materials
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and update inventory data as needed
  • Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules to meet the needs of plant material in holding areas
  • Conduct inspections of irrigation to ensure efficient water use and system functionality

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Provide support and coordination with field teams
  • Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks and support as needed across various project
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in equipment handling, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of machinery and tools
  • Experience with inventory management and record-keeping
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices for equipment handling
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good physical condition, ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds, ability to kneel for long periods of time, ability to bend up & down
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment

The Maintenance Technician will conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services throughout the manufacturing facility.

Job Functions:

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, production, and utility machines by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment as equipment is made available.

  • Remove defective/damaged parts using items such as hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
  • Adjust functional parts of machines and control instruments by using items such as hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs as required.
  • Work with and support Engineering during new projects and process improvement activities.
  • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish requisite tasks.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, issues, and ongoing opportunities.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical, post high school training/schooling
  • Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and schematics
  • 7+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Machine Operator

The Machine Operator has the primary responsibility of all packaging equipment.  This associate must maximize machine up-time with minimal levels of scrap, rejects and rework, while minimizing accidents and maintaining established standards of food safety.

Job Functions:

Job Qualifications:
