Klingensmith’s Drug Stores is seeking a Floating Pharmacy Technician to join our team.  This technician will work in various Klingensmith’s location throughout Armstrong and Clarion counties.

Pharmacy technicians are responsible for

  • Data entry and updating of patient information
  • Checking in pharmacy orders and maintaining inventory in the pharmacy
  • Assisting the pharmacist with running prescriptions and checking out customers in the pharmacy area
  • Dealing with insurance companies over the phone as well as for any other duties assigned by the pharmacist on duty

What You Will Do...

  • Follows all safety guidelines/practices
  • Perform housekeeping/TPEM/5S as required.
  • Repairs/maintains various forms of power transmission equipment.
  • Reads blueprints, plans and layout work.
  • Operate hand/power tools.
  • Able to work at heights up to and including 60 FT (Silo work).
  • Perform task as assigned by the work order system.
  • Work with others to help maintain the spare parts inventory.
  • Follow current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) for industry.
  • Performs troubleshooting and project work, plus scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as directed.

What You Will Have...

The Maintenance Technician will conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services throughout the manufacturing facility.

Job Functions:

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, production, and utility machines by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment as equipment is made available.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging, production, and utility machines.

  • Remove defective/damaged parts using items such as hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.

  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs as required.
  • Work with and support Engineering during new projects and process improvement activities.
  • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish requisite tasks.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, issues, and ongoing opportunities.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical, post high school training/schooling
  • Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and schematics
  • 7+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Machine Operator

The Machine Operator has the primary responsibility of all packaging equipment.  This associate must maximize machine up-time with minimal levels of scrap, rejects and rework, while minimizing accidents and maintaining established standards of food safety.

Job Functions:

  • Adhere to the company’s GMP’s and general food safety standards of BRC.
  • Perform spot checks on products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
  • Responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Responsibilities and Expectations:    

As a CNC Machinist for IPS you will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) lathe machine. Although we prefer someone with experience running a lathe, we are willing to train the right candidate. Duties will include:   

Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference plans, locations of surfaces, machining parameters, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Program lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, conditional switches, proving part programs, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.

Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Qualifications and Competencies:    

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and some experience with the setup and programming of CNC lathes.
  • Be willing and able to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends.
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing
  • Be able to relate well with co-workers in a professional, knowledgeable, and respectful manner

  • 1-5 years of AC/DC motor experience preferred.
  • Able to perform basic math functions.

We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist for IPS, you will identify problems and make necessary adjustments as they relate to industrial AC/DC electric motors and generators. You will use a variety of manual machine tools and balancing equipment for rotating machinery while following service center safety procedures. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and an ability to work from drawings, sketches, and blueprints. 

  • Operate conventional manual machining tools including engine lathes, horizontal lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machines, and related equipment
  • Safely use overhead, gantry cranes, lift trucks, and associated lift rigging
  • Perform mechanical measurements using portable mechanical instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and portable vibration measurement equipment
  • Machine and fabricate parts using engine lathes, grinders, and drill presses
  • Draw accurate prints for parts needing to be fabricated 

Qualifications and Competencies:  

  • At least 2 years related experience, 6 preferred using manual machining equipment, or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • Ability to read micrometer measuring equipment
  • Motor shop, machine shop, tool & die stamping, or oil field experience preferred 
  • Ability to operate manual lathes of various sizes and dimensions
  • Ability to operate electro-plating equipment
  • Ability to work with tolerances of +/- .001 
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
