Planning on attending a 4 year college or university?

Throughout the school year Guidance will schedule various Post-Secondary Institutions to visit Lenape Tech to provide our students with information and to answer questions

Make sure to check with your Post Secondary School to verify these are required

SOAR

Lenape Technical is a participant in the state SOAR, Students Occupationally and Academically Ready, Program.  SOAR gives our students the advantage of earning college credits (free of charge) for courses in particular post-secondary programs, before they graduate from high school. 

For students to earn these credits they must…

  • Participate in one of our 11 SOAR related technical program – see the individual program pages for this information               (look for the SOAR logo)
  • Earn a high school diploma
  • Maintain a 2.5 grade point average in your technical program
  • Achieve competent or advanced on the End of Program assessment (NOCTI or NIMS)
  • Complete a competency task list at the proficient level or above
  • Earn industry certificates where available
  • Successfully apply to the college of your choice that offers your Program of Study
